Summer Camp Boston, USA

30th July 2013

Boston City Tour for everyone!

Village Camps/CISS Boston got off to a fast start with some nice weather Monday and the weather continued on Tuesday. Two classes of students performed great ESL skits in the small gymnasium. Teachers Michelle and Nicole did a great job preparing the creative lesson for the students, all of whom loved the class!! Meanwhile, students in the TOEFL group are hard at work with their lessons, mock test questions, group work, and language and grammar based activities. Only two classes remain in what has been an excellent educational experience for all.

Following classes, students took part in their second to last excursion, this one being a trip to Boston's Fanueil Hall Marketplace. Students experienced street entertainment, shops, food, culture, architecture, and much more in gorgeous sunny weather. A group of students were dropped off at Harvard University once again. They toured the beautiful Harvard campus and shopped and dined in Harvard Square. The newer students who missed Harvard the first time got to experience it which was great!

After arriving back on campus safe and tired, students gathered in one of the common lounges for a movie watch.

Wednesday, students look forward to ice skating and arcades as well as another flag football/capture the flag experiences. Thursday, students will make their return trip to the Atlantic Ocean at New Hampshire USA's Hampton Beach!! We can't wait.
