Summer Camp Boston, USA

10th July 2015

Yahooooo! It's the WEEKEND!!!

Today, Friday, July 10, 2015, was another day of classes. The ESL learning goal was that students will be able to respond to a prompt in the past tense by using examples, handouts, and creating charts. In the TOEFL class, the learning goal was for students not to only respond using the past tense, but also the present perfect tense while responding to various standardize test questions. In all levels, talking about what happened the day before in Provincetown was an element that was focused on in the course. In addition to this, the TOEFL course focused on building on advanced vocabulary and sight words relating back to the standardize test. After learning these concepts, both levels presented their "all about me" projects. During this project, students had to create a poster while creating images and sentences describing themselves. In the formal activity, students had the opportunity to practice their writing and oral skills. The children were evaluated on sentences construction and oral presentation skills. >/p<

After class, students and staff went on a special trip--a gift from the Director--to Skyzone, which is a trampoline park. After spending time at Skyzone jumping all over the place, everyone returned to campus to finish the day with some fun competitive games such as Ping-Pong and bingo.
