Hooray for Friday: Water olympics and pool disco!
Today was filled with as much water as it was sun!
Morning programs had a blast! They reflected on how much they had learned already this week and got excited about what is to come in the following week! Adventure campers took on the challenge of survival, learning some first aid skills and shelter building know how in the enchanted forest.
This afternoon was the first ever Village Camps Water Olympics! The four teams: Blizzard, Monsoon, Hurricane and Glacier faced off with chant challenges, sponge catapult competitions, water-balloon toss and frozen t-shirt races. The games were so fun and exciting that we forgot to find a winner and celebrated the whole camp's victory with a swim in the pool.
This evening after dinner we headed back to the water for a disco party in the pool! There were flashing coloured lights, DJ Tania playing all the hits, and some fabulous dancers showing us their skills! We danced and sang and had a blast and a half. Drake's Hotline Bling sang us out of the pool and off to bed, recharging for an action filled day tomorrow.
