Summer Camp England
Mission Impossible .....without Tom Cruise..or Peter Graves!
The campers bounced cheerfully into their morning meetings to begin another wonderful day here at Village Camps York. The golfers headed out to the Forest of Galtrees golf course to practice their swings while the horse riders left campus to spend another day at the stables. The other programmes resumed as usual until everyone met again for our afternoon activities. The sun was trying its hardest to break from the clouds but this did nothing to alter the high spirits of the campers.
There was so much to choose from today with some campers deciding to take on Tennis with our great counsellor Janna, military challenge with Rachael and Joe and some campers even picked up a bit of Irish dancing. However the most anticipated event of the day had yet to begin.
Tonights evening activity was Mission Impossible. This is an all camp game which involves the campers assembling at the playing fields and trying desperately to make it back towards the accommodation block without being caught by one of our sneaky counsellors. However there is more to the game, the campers must also try to collect tickets from our other hidden counsellors. It is an exciting and fast paced game and great enthusiasm and commitment was put into the activity by every single camper. The tired campers then returned to accommodation and were soon fast asleep after a fun and enjoyable day at camp.
