Last Day of Session One
The last two weeks have gone by so quickly. It seemed only like yesterday we were greeting them, and sadly, now, we are assisting them in leaving. The sadness filled the air, but the spirit was rejuvenated with the much talked about camper vs counselor football match. Every year, the counselors prepare to beat the campers! Bets are made, threats of a camper upset talks amongst all the colour houses...and the staff busy preparing themselves for the event. This year, the campers BEAT the counsellors. It was a great victory and this speaks in volumes for our football instructors!
The evening shifted to the awards ceremony where campers received prizes and watched the slideshow of the past two weeks. Many tear-filled speeches and smiles filled the hall. Then, the party started with the disco. Music filled the night as we closed the first session of VC York 2011.

- Lunch: Fish & Chips, Vegetable Curry, Salad Bar
- Dinner: BBQ:Burgers, Sausages, Salad, Fruit, and Muffins
