Last Full Day of Activities in the Last Session of 2010
Tonight is the night that all the campers have been looking forward to. Once they have packed their bags and cleaned their rooms they will be presented with a prom night ticket, then the fun can begin.
This morning was dedicated to realising and appreciating the achievements of all our campers. The language students graduated from their classes, the Sport and Adventure campers and the Tennis campers were presented with certificates and the Dance kids had a final rehearsal for their routine they performed at the prom.
The afternoons activities started after the all camp meeting, everyone headed down to the pitch for a football/soccer match and then shopping. The campers had time in the village to shop for souvenirs, then back to camp to clean their rooms, pack, shower and get ready for prom.
Prom night was everything that it promised to be. The campers all dressed up in their best attire and were served a gourmet meal by their counsellors. Following dinner everyone gathered in the auditorium to receive awards for the cleanest rooms and each colour group had their very own prom King and Queen. Campers were entertained with performances from their counsellors and the dance campers performed their routine they had worked on all session. The evening ended by thanking all the staff and campers for their hard work all session. The whole evening was full of fun and celebrations, ending the session and the summer with a bang.
