Fantastic Weather for Festival Friday
We are just about half way through this session now, the kids have done so many things and achieved so much, and they have so much more awaiting them.
Today was another beautiful day in Switzerland, which was great for the Greenies as this morning they hiked back from their stay in the mountain hut. The hut is nestled in a green mountain side, surrounded by cows and wonderful panoramas. Back at camp the sports campers played basketball and street hockey all morning and the adventure campers played nature games and lost. As usual the Tennis campers have been down at the courts, the language students have been having fun in their classrooms and the dance campers have been practising their routine in the auditorium.
Unlike most days at camp, everyone gathered for a BBQ up at Prafandaz. After eating everyone divided into their teams, we had Water, Fire, Earth and Air all competing to become the champions of Festival Friday. We had massive relay races between all the groups and a tug of war to decide the winners.
As with every festival we ended with a song and dance, all the campers joined together again to enjoy the disco down in our auditorium. The music was pumping and the kids had a great time getting dressed up and letting their hair down.
