Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
The Last Monday of the Summer!
The wonderful weather we all enjoyed over the weekend has now disappeared, the blue skies have been replaced with grey and luckily there is no rain.
The sport/adventure campers had a big day ahead of them this morning, they set out on a day long hike to the mountain hut. The hut is a pretty building nestled into the mountainside with an amazing view down the valley. As usual we had the dance campers working hard on their routines, the film academy shooting and editing their movies and the language classes work hard in the classrooms.
The afternoon activities started after the all camp meeting, the Blues all came together to enjoy a hike up the mountain to a fromagarie where they could buy ice cream and cheese. The Yellows and Reds had an eclectic choose of activities ranging from art and dance to squash ans swimming.
The evening program was a unique one for Village Camps as nobody ate their evening meal in the building. Every colour group had a cookout, they walked to a beautiful BBQ site where their counsellors cooked a meal for the campers.

- Lunch: Soup, Cannelloni, Polenta, Salad, Fruit
- Dinner: BBQ
