Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland

Today is Festival Friday

Beautiful morning here in Leysin today. The Greenies and Yellows Adventure came back from the mountain hut where they spent the night. Blues and Reds Adventure had the choice between mountain biking or fitness and archery. Sports Camp played Street Hockey and Street Basketball and a couple of Language classes went out on their town tour as well.

As it is Festival Friday today, all the campers headed up to Prafandaz for a barbecue lunch and got assigned to their Element Teams . We then had the relay and tug-of-war challenges between the four teams of Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Each team also had to prepare a chant which could bring them extra points.

Tonight we are having Carnival Night here at camp. The campers can go through different stations and win tokens which in the end are added up to the scores of their Element Teams. Lots of fun with balloons, face paint, karaoke and other exciting challenges. And that concludes another amazing day here at camp and everyone is now looking forward for the week-end and to go on excursions tomorrow!
