Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Festival Friday!!
This morning the greenies where getting ready for festival friday , with face paint to match their elements and claymation. Yellow, red and blue adventure were doing forest fun, which involves various games in the forest. While yellow, red and blue sports camp were playing hockey and basketball.
This afternoon everyone headed up to Prafandaz for Fesitval Friday, each green, yellow, red and blue camper are divided into element groups Fire, Water, Air and Earth. They come up with a chant for their element and perform it in front of the other element groups. Then they compete against each other in relay races. Everyone has a BBQ for lunch and gets donuts for dessert.
This evening the camp is turned into Carnival were all the campers go round and partake in different games to receive tokens that contribute to their elements. There was Pin the tail on the whale, penalty shoot out, slackline, face painting, gummy bear ping pong, karaoke, hockey shoot out and strong man.
- Breakfast: cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread, fruit juices
- Lunch: BBQ, burgers, sausages, potato salad, baked potato, donuts
- Dinner: Fish, potatoes, cheese pasta, spinach, salads, strawberry cake
