Wednesday at Camp.. Adventure, Teamwork & Campfire Magic

Wednesday is shaping up to be another action-packed day, with every colour heading off on their own adventure before coming back together for an afternoon to remember. Our LTCs will be embracing the great outdoors with a series of exciting forest games, testing their teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills before turning up the excitement at Laser Quest. To round off the day, they'll head to Prafandaz for more outdoor fun and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories with friends. The Blues will be setting off on an orienteering adventure, navigating trails, working together and putting their map-reading skills to the test while exploring the beautiful surroundings. The Reds have a full day ahead, beginning with climbing where they'll challenge themselves both mentally and physically, followed by orienteering and mountain biking through the stunning alpine scenery. As the afternoon winds down, they'll begin preparing their skits before taking part in our ever-popular United Nations activity, celebrating the many cultures represented at camp. The evening continues with one of our favourite traditions a thrilling Murder Mystery, where campers will become detectives for the night. After an unforgettable night in the mountain hut, our Yellow Girls will make their way back to camp with plenty of stories to tell. They'll spend the afternoon preparing for their skits or join the rest of camp for United Nations, and then head to the ice rink for an evening of fun on the ice. Meanwhile, the Greens are off on one of Switzerland's tastiest adventures, visiting a local cheese factory and enjoying a delicious ice cream stop along the way. They'll return to camp to prepare their skits before joining everyone for United Nations, where campers will continue learning about one another's cultures, traditions and home countries. As the sun begins to set behind the mountains, the greenies will gather together around the campfire. Expect songs, laughter, stories, toasted marshmallows and that special sense of togetherness that makes camp feel like a second home. It's always one of the highlights of the week and a wonderful opportunity for everyone to slow down, reflect on the day's adventures and simply enjoy being together. With adventure, creativity, culture and friendship all woven into the day, Wednesday promises to be another unforgettable chapter of Summer Camp 2026.
