Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
A Super Active Sunny Day!
Today was very warm and sunny when the campers were woken up. We had a delicious and nutritious breakfast where the campers got energy and sustenance so that they could make it through the early morning activities.
The pace of the camp is really starting to pick up. The film camp made story boards for their films today while the English and German classes worked on vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking skills.
The activity and adventure campers were all over the camp today. The yellows took off for the lake and spent the morning with counselors Koru and Lorna learning how to work a kyak. The reds went down and climbed on the rock wall and then worked on their tennis Skills. Then finally the Blues got to learn and work on their archery skills and then moved on to the low ropes course where they spotted each other and worked in teams to make it through the course.
Everyone was ready for the delicious lunch by the time the clock hit 12:30.
After lunch there was a large array of activities. Yellows got to try Zumba, soccer, movie making and volleyball. The reds got to take part in arts and crafts, kickball, dodge ball and ballet. The blues took part in arts and crafts, kickball, movie making and dodge ball. They all had a fantastic time and some boys even took part in ballet and had a fantastic time doing it. We all want to see the movies that were produced during the free time because they looked interesting.
After dinner the campers were split up into color groups where they took part in game show themed activities. The yellows took part in a competitive round of scatagories where they were assigned a category and a letter and had to come up with ten things that started with the letter. The reds had a large round of cranium where they had to do all sorts of random activities for points. The blues took part in family feud where they split up into the Beaver and the Gucci families. The beaver family won.
After the evening events the campers were given their camp t-shirts and extra money for the excursion that we will be going on tomorrow to Krimmel Waterfall! We all need a good nights sleep for our long hike!

- Lunch: Clear Soup, Fried Pearls, Wiener Schnitzel (Turkey) Potatoes, Salad-bar, Fruit salad
- Dinner: Noodles with tomatoes and zucchini salad-bar fruits
