Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Welcome to Village Camps Austria!!
Good Day, Hello! / Gruess Gott, Hallo!
This is Paul Stafford, the Director for Village Camps: Zell-am-See (Austria). Summer is here and I would like to take a moment to let you all know how excited I am to be the new Director for Village Camps in Austria. A few of you may remember me from camp in Leysin, Switzerland or the VC Outdoor Education program in Anzere, or perhaps from my very brief visit to York. I am now the director here in Zell am See and I am very excited to meet our campers!
I will be at the front door on arrivals day to greet all 77 of our campers from around the world and get them settled in the Notburgahof resort in Piesendorf. Once we get them to their rooms they head downstairs to our dining hall where we will get them organized into camps; we have 17 German and 12 English language placements, 9 film campers and 39 campers meeting our adventure staff! Campers will then make name tags and sign up for our arrival activities, swimming, volleyball and basketball. We also have a variety of indoor activities including, board games, arts and crafts and handball. This summer will be full of fun, challenges, and surprises. There are mountains to hike and lakes to swim. We have amazing facilities and a super program for the campers.
Our goal is to make camp so engaging that campers and counsellors alike will want to return year after year. We have assembled a great group of counsellors this year, including several returning staff, and we are sure this is going to be a terrific summer!!
Ich wuensche Ihnen einen schoenen Sommer!!
