Excursion to Krimml Waterfall
Another activity packed day in Austria!
Todays activities ranged from kayaking in Zell Lake to fun games in English and German camp. The older Mountain and Lake Adventure girls went on a "Dragon Egg Quest" through the mountains that ended with a water balloon fight. Film campers scouted locations and started work on their films.
After a busy and fun morning, all campers went on an afternoon trip to the Krimml Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Europe. The hike up the waterfall, although tiring, was beautiful and scenic. The Krimml Waterfall was a wonderful afternoon excursion. The entire camp had a chance to mingle as we explored the steep path up the side of a mountain and stop for an ice cream treat at the top.
"Problems in Piesendorf" was the night's all camp activity. Counsellors dressed up for a murder-mystery game, in which the campers had to go around camp and complete challenges for clues: think live action Clue with extra challenges. Challenges included answering trivia questions, singing songs, enacting movie scenes, and/or solving puzzles.
It was a great day and fun was had by all!
