Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria

8th July 2014

Spotlight on: English Language Camp

One of the specific camps that is offered here at Village Camps Austria is English Language Camp. Each day, campers have three hours of English instruction before afternoon activities. The classes are divided into two parts, depending on skill and knowledge of the language. Campers write poems, play games, learn camp-related vocabulary, and even went on a tour of a local natural history museum. Our two English teachers, Megan and Steven, both have many years experience of teaching English and come from the United States.

In other news, tonight was International Night! Campers prepared skits, information, videos, traditional dances and songs from a country of their choice, as well as food. Lebanon, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, and the United States were only a selection of the countries represented at tonight's event.

After a day of fun and hard work, the camp is off to sleep, preparing for an exciting trip to Salzburg in the morning!
