Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Excursion to Sigmund Thun Gorge!
Today was a great excursion day! The morning started out with a delicious breakfast, and then usual morning programs. There was a bike trip to the lake, archery, and kayaking while others worked on language skills and film production.
After regular programs in the morning, everyone headed out to explore the Sigmund Thun Gorge in Kaprun, just across the valley from camp. The gorge was carved by a glacier that used to cover the area in the late Ice Age. The weather was great, and some brave souls even dared to go for a swim in the icy water of the glacial stream.
The program for the evening was an all camp game of Squirrels and Kunkin! There was plenty of running and laughing, and everyone was ready for a good night's sleep afterwards.
