Summer Camp Chiclana, Spain
Arrivals day in Chiclana, Spain!
Today was an awesome day with lots of excitement for whats ahead in the next two weeks.
Campers came from all over the world here to our centre in Chiclana, Spain.
The sun was shining down all day and there was a great breeze to keep us cool in the warm 34c.
Everyone made some name tags, found out their room assignments, and got together in Patio Don Bosco to play some volleyball and ninja. Then we headed to the pool as campers continued to arrive for a nice refreshing swim. Almost everyone had arrived when we headed to Comedor don Bosco for dinner, and afterwards campers headed out in their colour groups with their counsellors for a grand tour of the Complejo Campana grounds. They checked out the soccer pitch and basketball courts, their meeting spots, where to find schedules for the next day and all the information they need, where they can find the nurse, the rock wall and the barn with farm animals.
After that it was an early night as most of them were quite exhausted after such a long day of travelling.
We can't wait for tomorrow morning and the rest of the next two weeks!
