Summer Camp England
Arrival Day
While all the campers staying over for the second session had a well-deserved lie-in and spent the rest of the day at a theme park, the staff met and escorted the new arrivals to camp for registration and introduction to their colour leaders and counsellors. There was a continuous BBQ in the Secret Garden and a selection of games and activities all afternoon. A few of the arrivals were happy to stay indoors and relax after long travels.
Dinner was provided for all new campers regardless of their arrival time. After dinner almost everyone watched the World Cup Final, Spain vs Holland! With some near chances on both sides it was indeed an exciting match to watch but, in the end, the title went to Spain! The atmosphere was electric. Now, everyone was ready for bed.
- Breakfast: Continental or cooked breakfast, fresh fruit.
- Lunch: Pork,rice,courgettes, salad bar.
- Dinner: Chicken, stuffing, leeks, salas bar.
