Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Another Action Packed Day in Switzerland!
The sun didn't last long, after a beautiful morning the clouds soon moved in, this however didn't dampen our spirits.
The Greenies started their day with a hike up the mountain to a little fromagerie nestled in the Swiss hill side where they tried local cheese and ate ice cream. The sports campers jumped on the bus down to the sports centre where they played sports in the gym. The Yellow adventures had a go at archery with our archery specialist Naceur who is back for his 32nd year with Village Camps. The Red and Blue adventure campers hiked back to the hotel form their over night stay in the mountain hut.
After a well earned meal for everyone and the all camp meeting the fun activities could continue. The Greens started getting ready for their camping trip, the Reds had an afternoon of extreme challenges, the Yellows went ice skating and Blues had the usual choice of sports and arts for their afternoon.
In the evening he Greens started to get settled into their sleeping bags ready for a night under canvas. The Yellows stayed in the building to play Eggstreme games, the counselors show of their skills in basketball, beatboxing, hula hooping and any other random talents they may have and the campers have to try and copy. The Reds and Blues left the building, the Reds played dodgeball and the Blues had an evening on the ice.
