The First Festival Friday of 2012
Today is Festival Friday!
The day for the Greenies started very differently to the rest, with them packing up their camp from last night. After breakfast and games they returned to camp to join the rest.
Meanwhile back at camp the Sports campers played basketball and street hockey and the Adventure campers played nature games. As usual the Tennis campers have been down at the courts, the language students have been having fun in their classrooms and the dance campers have been practicing their routine in the dance studio.
Unlike most days here, the whole camp gathered for a BBQ up at Prafandaz; a picturesque spot overlooking both leysin and Lake Geneva. After eating everyone divided into their element teams: Earth, Air, Fire and Water; all competing to become the champions of Festival Friday. We had relay races with every element facing each other and a tug of war to decide the winners.
Differently from other festival fridays, this year ended with a carnival night, all the campers joined together again to enjoy several carnival style activities that were set up all around the building. The music was pumping, spirits were high and everyone had a great time!

- Dinner: Salmon, Potatoes, Pasta, lamb, Salad, Fruit
