Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Departure Day
Its a sad day for all as session one has come to an end. Some children were leaving for the airport, some were getting collected by parents. There have been a lot of tears as counsellors and campers say their final goodbyes. It has been an excellent experience for all campers, learning new things and creating friendships. But this is not the end, some have made life long friends and others enjoyed themselves so much they will be back again next summer so its see you soon and not goodbye forever.
There are some children who will be staying an extra night and some who are staying for the next session, so they have spent their time shopping this afternoon. Also the counsellors are getting the camp all ship shape ready for a brand new session.
After dinner the stayovers watch a movie and did any final packing and enjoyed a nice relaxing last night at camp.

- Lunch: Chicken stir fry, gnocchi, potato salad, pesto sauce
- Dinner: Salmon, turkey, spinach, rice, tomato soup
